I agree. It is a distraction and a means to get people to stop thinking logically. Especially the press.
I think the IRA videos on his MySpace page are a clue/message for those who do know his real motive. My (bear with me) theory is that it stands for his views about Israel and the Palestinians. With the IRA symbolizing the Palestinians and of the course the British symbolizing Israel.
If my theory is correct that would mean this was his own act of Jihad and if he had not converted he at least became radicalized and was willing to kill because of it.
What’s the point of committing an act of Jihad if it’s all symbolic and no one knows why he did it?
The web trail is nothing but mindless fodder for the lazy drooling reporters of today. Hopefully there is a serious reporter digging deeper into this man.
I would like to know when this guy enrolled at the college vs. the France train attack news. Did he target this college because of Skarlatos? I find the coincidence to be a bit much.
Or (slight variation) he's noting what a relatively small group of terrorists could do to a country.
