It’s kind of interesting that both of you seem to be ok with US getting into another Korean or Vietnam war, in Syria.

What's more interesting is your abject ignorance of the facts of the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Cold War.

Aircraft on both sides were shot down with frequency and no one was going to start a world war over these events. Even when the Soviets shot down a KAL 747 with a US Congressman aboard no one discussed war.
