And to what degree is that behavior a mimicry of the sister? My son would try to play like his older sister, being a Daddy in the house feeding the baby and trying on the same dress up clothes she did, until moving to to blocks and trucks.

And to what degree is it doing what Mommy approves of? This mother may have a bias against boy activities, and the kid is now going into crazy mode to get approval.
AKA, the ultimate war on boys - wussified isn’t enough, he has to BECOME a girl to be accepted.

I used to play with my brothers toys, simply because I found his stuff far more interesting.

You know in pre-Victorian days in Britain, many people used to dress their boys in dresses, sometimes up until the age of five. It was rather fashionable to do so.

I agree there seems to be a war on boys, they’re doing their best to make all men Metrosexual, all this shaving their body hair is a good example. In my opinion very bizarre, to want men all smooth like either young boys or girls.
