Poor Hillary. Always the bridesmaid (or discrete enabler of Bimbo Eruptions) but never the bride.
When you have Valerie Garrett openly running interference, it doesn’t look promising.
What’s that old saying, sometimes the enemy of my enemy is (inadvertently!) my friend.

Hillary is the Bride of Frankenstein! The Clintons turned politics SO dirty, that most decent people want nothing to do with the BLOOD SPORT of ruining your opposition.

The enemy of your enemy may be your friend, or they may just be another enemy. In that case just sit back, watch the contest, and root for career ending injuries.

“Poor Hillary. Always the bridesmaid (or discrete enabler of Bimbo Eruptions) but never the bride.”

She has had, in her life, opportunity after opportunity after opportunity to do good for others. Most recently, with the money in the Clinton Foundation, she could spend her time putting in place job training and work programs, health education programs, community grant programs for growth, and 1000s of other activities that could make a difference in people's lives. That said, what you stated about being a ‘bridesmaid, never the bride’ refers to the biggest motivation in her life - to be the first woman President. That is a personal and selfish ambition, and honestly out of keeping with what ‘public service’ is supposed to be.

Most of these people are just spoiled brats who see life as a contest - always. That's why ultimately they will always be ‘the bridesmaid, never the bride’, because it will never be enough. Bill achieved his alleged high school dream of becoming President, but he is not a happy man, and went through a substantial depression after leaving the Presidency. Gore, lost his marriage, became exceptionally bitter after losing the election, and IMHO does not appear to be a very ‘happy’ man. This is because for most of these people it is the ‘gold star on the refrigerator’ that is the central motivation in their life. That's actually a superficial motivation that will always disappoint.

Many of them (many politicians in general) make bad ethical decisions that ultimately wreak havoc in their lives (including impeachment, prison sentences, loss of their marriages, etc.) because they are so caught up in their own journeys of ‘self-importance’ that they just lose sight of what truly is important. That lack of a realistic and spiritual vision (irrespective of your individual religious beliefs) makes it nearly inevitable that one will always be the bridesmaid, never the bride.

My soapbox moment for the morning (don't have to go in today) - and I've made plenty of my own mistakes, which is why I comment.
