Mitt Romney says he’ll support whoever the Republican candidate is, but he’s not going to go out and order a Make America Great Again hat anytime soon.
“I will support the Republican nominee. I don’t think that’s going to be Donald Trump,” the GOP's 2012 candidate said. “My party has historically nominated someone who's a mainstream conservative.”

Varying degrees of evil is still evil. But to the faux conservatives here, and there are many, we had to have McConnell. Yeah, we had to have 100% Obama legislation....sure we did....and we got it!
They are going to keep a couple fools in the race so they can pool their delegate votes against Trump. They will smack him with intense negative ads at the last minute in the primary states and get the senior vote. Then bam, the delagates conspire to knock him out. The only wild card is Ted Cruz, and they are working on that now. Mitt and Jeb have a plan, for sure. And the others are bitter enough to lend a hand.
The GOP is a pressure relief valve to give the illusion of two parties and choice. It allows the lie of ‘lesser evil’ to propagate when in truth both parties share one agenda.
All one need do is look at the facts on the ground and American history in the 21st century for 100% proof.

I would not doubt anyone who believes someone will try offing him. I might not want the guy as prez but plenty of GOP/Lib/Powerbrokers have far too much to lose if he’s elected.
