Republicans ought to be demanding an end to progressive taxation in this countrya flat tax at minimum, with a potential move down the line to a consumption tax eventually if that can be done. We shouldnt be settling for a simple whittling of tax brackets from seven to four. And we absolutely shouldnt be exempting anyone from federal income tax while we have such a tax at all. We have far too many people in this country who dont vote like taxpayers; how do you think a no-talent hack like Obama managed to become president?
The hope had been that Trump would broaden himself during this campaign..... What made Trump interesting was the possibility that, as a businessman, he would apply clear-eyed fiscal analysis and technological innovation to the leviathan and show the way for a 21st century model of government...
...that simply hasnt come to fruition, and at this point it doesnt look like it will.
And reversing himself 180 degrees on taxes during the Pelley interview, after once again extolling socialized medicine, just shows that hes not the guy.
The Democrats are flat on their backs in this cycle. When their first debate finally rolls around on October 13 it will become clear that none of their candidates could even survive at the GOPs kids table. We have the opportunity to present the American people with a candidate who is unapologetically, nakedly, and provably conservativeand aggressive about itand win in a rout reminiscent of at least 1968 or possibly even 1980..
We need to move on and vet the rest of these people. Trump is taking up too much oxygen.

“His plan states he proposes deporting gang members - PERIOD.”
Wrong. He has stated time and time again, that ALL who are here illegally will have to go. There’s nothing unclear or confusing about that. If you’re going to deny what he’s actually said, then you’re clearly not interested in having an honest discussion. Disappointing.
Confusing and unclear very aptly describes Scott Walker’s numerous positions on immigration prior to his bowing out. At yet that never bothered you. Clearly you are basing your opinions on something other than the facts.
I know what he says.
I suggest that you read it.

I’ve read what he says on the topic and I’ve heard him speak on his immigration plan numerous times. In numerous discussions on the topic, Trump has made his position on the subject very clear. Build a wall. Kick out the gang members first, but all must go. If you haven’t heard him say this then you’re not informed. I suggest you try listening for a change. There are many ways in which these deportations could be carried out. Your criticism of his plan is supposedly based on the fact that he has not been specific enough on that final point for you, and yet lack of specificity was never an issue with you regarding Scott Walker’s policies.
Again, Trump’s immigration plan is tougher than any other candidates. He has given more detail than any other candidate and his been very specific with regard to it’s main points. There are a number of ways the deportations can be implemented. You’re faux concern that Trump hasn’t given specifics yet on how he will implement the deportations, when no candidate, least of all Walker, has done so, reveals that this was never an important issue for you to begin with. But then again, your support of Walker was enough to reveal that.
Trump literally just had an interview where he affirmed he would deport every single illegal alien, even the "good ones" who would be required to go through a legal process to return.
You need to get over the fact that your lying, worthless candidate Scott Walker dropped out of the race and stop attacking Trump and his supporters.
