Pope Francis also had dinner with the Little Sisters of the Poor, who are suing the Obama administration because of the HHS mandate.
I believe meeting with these folks is the Pope’s way of showing them, and EVERYBODY that he supports them.

I read an article the other day that said the Pope had a heckuva lot of homosexuals behind him, because of that one statement about, “Who am I to judge?” I’ve also read, by a priest, that statement doesn’t mean he accepts homosexuality. So, a lot of homosexuals are going to be more accepting of a man who represents the truth of the Bible, and maybe willing to listen to what he says.
I like him, and I’m a wannabe Jew.

Very interesting. Did NBC do a segment on the Pope talking to Kim Davis?

I don’t recall that. I didn’t see Saturday’s news nor the standard evening news Friday.

Agreed. Cowardly to say something about the politically incorrect Kim Davis AFTER he’s left the country.

What I continue to find fascinating is how FRoman Catholics continue to beat the straw horse that each Protestant is his/her own Pope, but then they all are upset about Frank. Tgey seem to think they are better Catholics than he is. Who are they to judge?

Are you serious? Anyone who asks for prayers has a wise and realistic view of what he really needs in this world and in the next.
One of the Spiritual Works of Mercy is to "Admonish sinners," and Pope Francis needs to be chastised, too. You might want to pray for that.

I very much agree with "St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us"--- including for Pope Francis.
It's not right to say, though, that Pope Pius XII of happy memory was the last true Pope. You and I are not the ones to judge whether the conclaves of 1958 and thereafter,, and the Popes they elected, were invalid. God save us from another Great Western Schism (1348-1417).
St. Vincent Ferrer, pray for us.

If NBC News and Lester Holt want to publicize it hugely, well, thanks be to God. I’d shout it from the housetops.

The point to be made here, for me, is that the Pope, who Progressives have just spent a week fetting as THE major moral authority on a whole host of issues, has now validated Kim Davis as being persecuted for her beliefs. Thats something that Progressives can’t easily back away from (although they’ll certainly try)
Thats what’s important here. I’m not Roman Catholic, but on issues relating to free exercise of Religion I’ll gladly and thankfully accept the Pope’s support.

Kim Davis accepted that rosary like the gracious Christian lady she is. She's one of my heroes. I am glad she has a Catholic mother.
"The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful. " James 5:16. Even if that person is in heaven.

I think this is beautiful. I hope she does pray for him. He could use some divine guidance (as could we all.)

"Jesus blood gives us all the OPPORTUNITY to be redeemed, but we have to accept that redemption individually." Which is what Catholics believe.
