Yikes. In short, "spend more of your money."

The Vatican has possibly the largest collection of priceless art in the world. The record price for a single painting is just shy of $300 million for Gauguin's When Will You Marry? Below is a picture of the Last Judgement wall behind the altar at the Sistine Chapel.

If $300 million fetches a single small painting, how much for this one - over 100 times the size by one of the greatest masters ever? $3 billion? $5 billion?

C'mon Mr. Pope. What about that mote in your own eye.

That painting—and all the other “treasures”—do not belong to the Pope. They belong to the GOVERNMENT.
