Well, it looks like it on that map, but the Med is a lot bigger in real life!

And the Nimitz, while big, is not half the length of Cyprus!

Not that extreme. I suspect the 1000 strong battalion is an overestimate. But the PLAN has three of these

Carry a battalion of 5-800.
