According to Sheila Jackass Lee we've already landed men on Mars. Space policy "expert" that she is, she probably believes man is causing climate change on Mars.

Isn’t this evidence of climate change being a result of natural cycles which man cannot control and may not understand???? If this happens on a planet without human life????

I am skeptical of the pure crap the MSM has released on the subject of water and Mars.

I will read anything I can find, but without any question, the first time I read, in any article, "..scientists say..." followed by 100% crap, I stop reading.

If the "scientists" are not named and vetted, I am not in the slightest interested in what they have to say.

Mars has NO magnetic field, so it gets cooked?

According to geologic evidence there (paleo-magnetism of lava basins), when Mars lost its molten core billions of years ago the planet was no longer able to generate a magnetic field. Without a magnetic field there is no protection from atmosphere-destroying/stripping cosmic ray particles from space. Without an atmosphere to contain heat and moisture, the planet naturally cooled off to where it is today. It does, however, have seasons, due to the fact that it rotates on a tilted axis as Earth does, and so temps do fluctuate there seasonally.

And they know it had a magnetic field at one time because really ancient lava rock there is magnetically aligned to some planetary-scale field, while lava that formed much later as a result of meteor impacts is not magnetically aligned. So, sometime in between, Mars lost its magnetic field.
