As I understand it, Assad is bad but better than ISIS. The Christians in Syria prefer Assad. The middle east is full of crazy leaders. ISIS must be stopped together with their cohorts Boko Haram and Al Qaeda.
Obama is a great pretender. You cannot trust anything he says. He adjusts his statements to fit his current audience. Look to what he does.
You get what you get with Assad- tin pot dictator in a saddam like strongman mold who oppresses everyone equally, yet squashes all radicalization. He’s a balance to the natural menace of islamists in the region.
