To: Conscience of a Conservative

Say what you want, but the trend is clear. Trump hasn’t increased his support, and in most polls has lost support. I happen to think it’s because Trump has intense support but a limited ceiling. You can feel free to disagree.


Trump has/is polling consistently between 25%-35%. Those that say he is down 7 from his high in the Morning Consult are ignoring that is up 6 from his low; therefore he is consistent. He’s polling double digits more than the competition. Any, and I mean any, of the other candidates would LOVE to have half the difference added to their #s. (Ask Rick Perry or Scott Walker. Heck, ask Jeb Bush!) Even with the supposed surges Carson, Fiorina and Rubio had, or is having (Wasn’t Carson in a statistical dead heat?) nobody else is even close...100+ days after he announced.

Look at the realclearpolitics link I posted above. Where are you seeing consistent polling between 25-35%?
