Still room for improvement but sounds like a real safe plan. What is really needed is to totally scrap the entire IRS code and rebuild a much simpler from the ground up. Trump is the best start we have. Trump for President.

Gotta give it to him...he’s finally spelling out his plans. I don’t agree with a progressive tax code, but if it’s anything like Trump spelled out....let’s get it done.

As mentioned in a related thread, please consider the following.

Trump supporters need to get him up to speed on the Supreme Court’s clarification of Congress’s limited power to appropriate taxes. State sovereigny-respecting justices had clarified that Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially any issue which Congress cannot ustify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Also tell Trump that the reason that probably most federal taxes are uncostitutional is because the corrupt, post 17th Amendment ratification Senate is not doing its job to protect the states as the Foundining States had intended for it to do. The Senate actually hurts the states by helping the corrupt House to pass unconstitutional tax appropriations bills, bills that arguably steal state revenues.

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators who pass unconstitutional House appropriations bills along with it.

Also Trump has a new book coming out on October 27th that will go into detail on a number of other things.

Right in time for the Christmas Holidays a new Trump book on the best seller list. He doesn’t miss a trick.

It’s a good start, maybe some of the other candidates will now get real on reducing taxes and getting rid of deductions and loopholes for the few at the top.

Yes.

NOW, abolish minimum wage, federal protection of unions and the tonnage of useless and wasteful and costly dead-end regulations, and we’ll be on our way.

You won’t have to worry about “fair” trade and tariffs because with those things in place, the market economy will be free to roll like a juggernaut.

Next: CUT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT - BY A LOT!!!

*barf*

pretty much what every liberal has been wanting for decades.

The rich pay more and more, the poor and middle class pay nothing.

He just hid it behind new words “evil hedge fund guys” instead of “rich” or 1%

Other than the no tax liability of singles of $25,000 nor the joint couples of $50,000 NOT contributing to America, I like what I see. Appears that Romney had it right with his 47%. No, I wasn’t a Romney supporter.

If Trump can stick with this sort of presentation (not just on taxes) he can continue to do well. He comes across much better, I think, than even speeches of a couple weeks ago.
