I will never understand the scorn for the military.

In 1985 my youngest was a junior in high school and a teacher made him remove a U.S Army book cover.

I was furious,as was his father,but my son didn’t want us contacting the teacher or school so we let it go.

By the way he went into the Marines a year later.

Obviously he didn't want the Marines finding out about that Army book cover.

Any feelings toward the military come from either a good foundation with basic knowledge of civics, the congress directs the military the people direct and elect the congress

Or a bad foundation. Ignorance of the above

And a mixture of the tenet of a standing military constitutionally founded protecting us from enemies

And the leadership of the country. It’s love or disdain for the military

And not necessarily in that order

Ignorance is not good
