I'm starting to think that Jeb actually wants nothing to do with the presidency and is doing all he can to stink up this campaign while maintaining plausible deniability.

Totally right. We elected them to fight Obama. They interpreted their election as a mandate to get along with the Democrats better. If Boehner and McConnell had fought against Obama the way they do against conservatives, Trump wouldn’t be in the race.
