This is mind-blowing. What a difference this kind of thinking would make if we were to elect this guy. Not only is he talking about lowering taxes for most and eliminating loopholes for others, but he's talking about cutting all unnecessary government spending.

I could think of a better plan (see my profile for my reverse-progressive plan) but I know I'd never get traction with that. This is a plan that most people can sign on to.

The only thing I don't like about it is that low income families pay no tax. Then take away their voting rights too. I think everybody who votes should be a stakeholder.

It addresses a flaw in the Republican brand: that conservatives cater to the rich and powerful, that Republicans care more for K Street than Main Street.

Eliminating taxes on most Americans is a political and economic winner.

Its something GOP candidates can run on. We want to make life easier for people who make this country work and pay their bills.

We want them to keep their take home pay and have a better quality of life for themselves and their kids.

And you don’t need huge and expensive government programs to show compassion to people who don’t make much money.

What’s not to love? Conservatives get a bad reputation as Uncle Scrooge who says you can’t have more.

Trump wants to change that by saying why should working and middle class income people have to pay a government that spends more than it takes in?

We’re bereft of common sense in this country.

Definitely. Anyone who doesn’t chip in via taxes should not have a vote. They have no right to provide input as to how government money should be spent.

So which tax is required for voting rights? Sales taxes from fueling up a car? Taxes on a cell phone bill? The taxes that every consumer pays when they buy a product - not the sales taxes at the counter, but the taxes the company who made the product pays? As that’s included in the price of the item.

It is extremely difficult to get through a single day without paying taxes in some form or another. I’m curious as to who exactly you’d exclude?

I agree. At least it is a start.

Middle America wages, their medical benefits, and retirement pensions have been declining for decades. While middle America has been looted by government the malicious MSM props them up. As if somehow a government that refuses to secure it's own GD borders while aiding and abetting millions of criminals is somehow a legitimate.

During all this time, the wealthy, those in government became wealthier and more and more corrupt while government only grew and became larger, more arrogant and controlling.

These bloated obese bastards needed to be gone many years ago.

Most Americans PO'd and know they're being conned. The jig is up Sam.
