The Dems undermined Iraq from almost the start. Dem presidential candidates for 2004 called for "regime change in Washington, DC." Told our enemies to "hold on." Said invasion of Iraq was wrong.

With those signals, suddenly all of the troublemakers in Iraq, to Libya, to North Korea started making noise again.

Not a good comparison with Vietnam. Obama didn't just inherit a poorly run situation. Obama had his own agenda: "Arab Spring"

I have to agree with that.

And I'll also agree that my analogy with Vietnam isn't perfect. But here's the bottom line, with Vietnam or Iraq, or wherever: If you are going to get involved in a major war, you sure as hell had better be in it to win it. Otherwise, don't get involved.

LBJ ignored that, and so did W. I cannot forgive either one, ever.
