It is chilly here.

I’m in Maine, and just 10 days ago or so the temperature was in the high 80’s, pushing 90 and very humid.

Now, it gets down into the 30’s at night and the high during the day is in the 60’s.

Yes, very chilly weekend. I'm down in Connecticut and even felt the chill here. Put a jacket on for the first time since May. It's the time of year in New England where temperatures plummet quickly. A time for pumpkins, county fairs, raking leaves and winterizing the yard.

Looks in the photo like Bush might have a shandy in front of him. Too pale to be a pumpkin shandy however. Probably a Sam Adams porch rocker.

Also, sad to say that George Bush is probably seeing his last autumn. I've seen that look many times before in aging people. But he's had a rich, full life and I wish George Sr. well in his twilight days and hopefully he'll get to a few more bars in the meantime.
