I disagree with you. They aren’t being made to wear it because they’re Juden, but due to dietary restrictions. Muslims will wear the same things.
That said, I think this is a bad idea. Have the foods be marked Kosher/Halal, or better yet, bring your own food.
The way the posted article is written, my mind immediately thinks of the yellow stars imposed by the Nazis. Maybe it’s just me.
