Lord God,
Even in the midst of tremendous darkness that seems insurmountable, Your light still shines. Father, our friend needs You in this time of great sorrow, frustration, anguish, and fear. May Your Spirit of revelation show her Your presence and Your compassion toward her and her daughter. Send people to help them, Lord, and may Your comfort be showered upon them. Help them to trust in You for everything they need. Help them to take each day at a time, knowing that they do not need to fear, for You are with them. You will uphold them with Your righteous right hand. And help them to forgive their loved one, Lord, so that they themselves can be set free. God, You are our strength in time of need. Their time is now. We are confident You will never leave them nor forsake them. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I also pray, Father, for healing Patricia Mary and her daughter’s mind. Remove the image of their beloved’s earthly remains. Carry them, Sir, above grief and into Your peace, amazing grace and mercy. Thank You for demonstrating Your goodness and love for them.
