Unfortunately you are 100% correct.

If I had the ability I would make everyone get paid 100% from there employer and they would have to write the check to fedzilla and state themselves. I guarantee if the average man was given all his wages and them he had to pay it out on his own the tax rates we have now would not exist. By having the employer take it out the employee doesn’t feel the sting since he never had the money in his hand.
Everyone I ever had to 1099 understood just how much money fedzilla collected and hated it.
If you think the elites don’t have it engineered to a tee you are wrong, they know exactly how to distract and change the issue so the average Joe doesn’t feel the penetration they are so good at without even a substance to reduce the friction.

Exactly, people have become used to it being the “norm” that the state and fed just slice off a chunk of their pay without them ever seeing it, one of many instances of evil being “normed”. The government knows that we would have more of a chance to oppose them if we to actively hand our money over to support their big spending budget items, instead of them just taking it and pretending that that means support for everything they do. And God help you if you stick your head up from the crowd and say “I don’t support this, and I’m not forking over my money”, they will bring the fulll weight of the IRS to bear against you-funded by you. Over time, this government has got “we the people” right where they want us, and we get the privilege of paying for the screwing too.
