Well, this is all new to me.

I never processed an H1B for an hourly wage earner.

People need to take a few minutes and read all the messages I have sent. The truth is H1B’s are SALARIED. And, as an engineer; project engineer, linear engineer, you make a whole lot more than $16,000.

I never saw any of this information during the time I was processing that type of Visa.

If somebody in the Labor Dept as changed the H1B to include hourly wage earners, it’s news to me.

The CIS seems to use "wage" as basically synonymous with "salary" - odd, I agree, but not enough to dismiss the substance of their facts.

The $16,000 is a salary DIFFERENCE - you need to take a few minutes and read.
