A Sacramento County prosecutor Thursday alleged that Kenyatta Makhia Brown accidentally killed 18-year-old Joslynn Sovenski with a shot from an assault rifle at a Carmichael party last weekend, then fled with another firearm ahead of authorities as the girl lay dying.

He isn't being charged with murder because why? Probably because it was accidental which makes it manslaughter rather than murder and of course white lives don't matter unless they're police lives.

If it were truly accidental, it wouldn't even be manslaughter, which requires some level of mental culpability.
Otherwise, every traffic accident that resulted in death would involve a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
