The last shutdown in 2013 wasn’t any big deal and the Repubs swept out the Dem Senate and added to their house majority in 2014.
So, what’s not to like.
They want to continue to rule by continuing resolution. They refuse to pass appropriations bills.
Obama has yet to receive an appropriations bill, and he won’t, with Boehner and McConnell in charge. Because they’re all in on the game to strip this House of its power of the purse, and transfer it to the Senate and President. That is what has been going on since 2009, and especially since 2011.

What is not to like is, the Repubs have thus far squandered away any advantage they currently have. Under Boehner’s poor leadership, he must go. A STRONG conservative leader needs to replace him and SOON.
