No one thought of stopping Some of them probably did. The problem was everyone didn't think to stop at the same time. Not that I'm saying Muslims aren't angry and savage, but this is typical behavior in a panicked crowd. And this was a REALLY big crowd. It happens at rock concerts. The best thing to do if you're caught in a frenzied crowd is to keep going with the flow while moving sideways to the edge. If you get knocked down, don't try to get up. Crawl instead.
