I know you WANT to think the military is different. And I'm sure most of the GI’s are still good young MEN. But, it is no different than any other government bureaucracy and you should discourage your kids from getting anywhere near this social experiment that will chew them up for nothing.
I heard the father of Corporal Buckley on the radio the other day. It was just ... words fail.
I told both of my kids to never join the military.
I don’t have anything against the military.
I don’t like the way it’s being run now.
My son wouldn’t have beaten the afghan rapists.
He would have shot them.
And probably been jailed for it.
