The connection is your patronizing attitude toward people who are naturally, if at times inordinately, alarmed at the unchecked flood of illegal immigration into the U.S.
The connection is that none of us any longer knows which border-crosser, legal or illegal, will choose to stay and what they will do once here...have some babies? go on welfare? take a job from someone else? deal drugs? ruin another school or neighborhood? kill someone during commission of crime or just for the hell of it?
