Why doesn’t Francis lead the way by telling his churches in America to start paying taxes?
so why didn’t the Vatican take in 10,000 refugees if we are all mean spirited?
Reminds me of that scene in Cocktail when Tom Cruise tells his arrogant business teacher “if you are so smart in business what are you doing here teaching community college business?”
If there is this separation of church and state why is he addreasing Congress and doing so in his religious garb?
GE, Time Warner, Prudential, and Qualcomm are a couple of Fortune 500 companies that don't pay taxes. What's good for them should be good for the church as well.
There are a lot of Catholic individuals and organizations that give much time and treasure working to help those that are less able and fortunate than them.
Paying more taxes to the government is not the answer to helping anyone is it?
