It looks like they are preparing for the One World Government. Get the world leaders (UN) and obams together with the Catholic Church... which is HUGE. and we have that One World Rule plus the Pope opening the way for the Anti Christ to come on the scene. And because it’s endorsed by religion, it will be accepted by the masses. IMHO
Pope is well liked by the left and other nations... his likeableness is because he doesn’t have any “do nots” for that bunch. They like to have their lefty lives endorsed by religion.. and this Pope is sanctioning that.

I’m afraid that is the way I see it, too. Sadly.
As a convert, I was received into Holy Mother Church by Sacred Scripture, the Holy Spirit, the recorded history of the saints and the popes of yester year, in the Magisterium and I miraculously saw her proven. But, the Church has suffered gravely an onerous pope or two, and here we are again.
Today, the orthodox Catholics in the USA, barely have a home, my friend. We endure to the end and suffer what God allows in a crashing, clanging world.
This papa seems to make Charity into welfare, Mercy into license, globalism into utopia, global warming climate change into one world government, all of it into a state of utopian living that shall never come, by the hand of man. He is entertaining arguments for all manner of evil behaviors, in the name of “diologue”, giving “dignity” to open sinners and shameful patience with their open sin.
Least is said against abortion. (One sentence.) Nothing is said about the atrocities of Planned Parenthood, nor against its lefty leadership, which is brimming with the Left/Marxists/communists.
A horrifying time for the devout. Many will leave thinking the faith is subjective to the Pope and to the direction of the Church under his shepherding. I will remain, knowing the Church and the faith is greater than a single wayward pope, clear as crystal, and that the pope is subjected to these things that are true, as am I.
But, yes, to your point the Church in the USA is in extreme crisis, soon to be filled with all manner of foreign gods. I pray to be able to stand. None want to suffer underground faith.
