You’re mistaken in every way.
Cruz is the direction that the money is going, thus is the one that will be standing when the rest have expended their meager cash.
That is something that fake polls can’t deal with.
Supporting Trump is childish ‘logic.’
Cheering his bombast is one thing, but looking to him for the future indicates a lack of personal development.
The one thing that is certain in this election is that Trump cannot get the nomination by any means. Those not now supporting him view him as an inappropriate candidate at best, and more likely as election suicide, just like Perot.
Are you calling Jim Robinson childish? Yeah, you're compatible.
Invoking Perot indicates you are incapable of making distinctions between vastly different phenomena. Perot was not interested in winning, he just hated George Bush. He was a populist, a guy who made his money with computers for the welfare state. He was rewarded handsomely with contracts after the election.
Trump is not espousing populism, a mish-mash of liberal and conservative thought added to an anti-establishment sentiment. Trump is anti-establishment, but he is espousing the conservative position on just about every issue. The only question is whether you believe him or not. I believe him on immigration, and if all he does is build a wall and get a handle on the illegals, he will have done much to save the country. If he also makes the tax code better, improves American standing in the world, fights ISIS and reduces the federal budget, that will all be gravy. But the threshold issue is immigration; let those people stay, and Republicans will be outvoted forever, not just for generations. There will cease to be an American people, and it will be instead people in America.
Trump is in it to win it, not to throw everyone for a loop and then get out. He has an uphill battle, given that the entire establishment of both parties, including yourself, will throw everything at him that they can. But he, unlike my favorite, Cruz, has a good chance of going over the heads of the party bigshots, and remaking the Republican party. Just throwing those bums out will do so much more for the conservative cause than anything.
I don't know why you are deluded, but what I do know is that your delusion is dangerous to the conservative cause. If good conservatives would come together to defeat the GOPe once and for all, it will send a strong signal to the Masters of the Universe that it is time for them to let the people speak. They thrive on our division, it gives their schemes a chance.
