Trump isn’t Newt. Trump is Trump and he is being himself.
That is one thing I appreciate about him. He is not controlled by handlers like politicians.
You may be right. On the other hand, saying something like that probably has the effect of putting FOX a bit on the defensive. The bottom line is what matters most to the FOX executives. He’s already hitting them where it hurts - in the pocketbook. A fine by the FCC, while not that significant, probably means more to the executives at FOX than any verbal comeback he might be able to send their way.
