So if I have this straight, “the news” is no longer “what happened” nor is it “what this person said about that person”, but now it’s “what this person said about this news outlet when that news outlet said that about this person” or it could be “what this news outlet said about that person after that person said this about that news outlet”.
This has submerged so far below usefulness, it has exceeded its crush depth. I already don’t own a TV, what are my options from here on out?
I think the book News From Nowhere did come out some 40 years ago. Nothing has changed. News shows only report what is convenient (for various reasons) to them.
