My Take:
Trump came out and dialed back the boisterous.
Trump rolled out his firm fair and reasoned personal.
Any attempt by Colbert to be clownish would have backfired on Colbert.
Trump effectively controlled the conversation and did not talk over Colbert.
Trump did not veer from his campaign speech standard stories
Trump came off as ...... Presidential

Taped it and saw it this morning. I thought he did very well. He seems very relaxed doing these kind of shows.
