I did find this interesting paragraph in the Washington Post published on September 24th, 12 days after the death of our Ambassador Stevens. “Glen Doherty, a former Navy SEAL and one of the Americans killed in the consulate attack, told ABC News last month that he had gone into Libya to track down MANPADS as a contractor for the State Department.” Isn't that new? State department??

Now that seems over looked to me? That article seems to give cover to the idea that Qaddafi had Man Pads but it is unclear how the Al Qaeda affiliates got them until after the war. I think that is what it is saying and yet we know that Libyan aircraft were dropping like flies during the war. Now this occurred way back before the end of the overthrow of Qaddafi by the Wahhabi sect Sunnis. How did that happen if the SA-7 MAN PADS were not found by the terrorists that we supported until months later when Qaddafi fell after warning us that the Al Qaeda was the element he was fighting? Where did they get those missiles? I think we were buying back our own missiles.

The missiles were found rather early, before the regime fell, one of the first targets in the uprising was the armories.

If you were going to stage an uprising wouldn’t the armories be your first target as well?
