I didn’t read the article (sorry, Andrew, but people made your namesake site impossible to read from) but not one person in the world is criticizing anyone with pedophile desires who never acts on it nor uses, shares, watches, or trades child porn.

There is no such thing as a pedophile who does not act on his (and let’s face it, molesters are overwhelmingly XY) predilections in some fashion or form.
There’s just the matter of getting caught doing whatever it is that feeds the sickness.
I’m not sure I agree. I am sure there are many good people true to their spouses whose sexual fantasies might not be G rated moral stories they wish to tell all their friends.
If a pedophile (and personally I hate them so much I’d want death penalty upon conviction of two separate counts) never used porn or touched a child, to me that is the same as any other private never acted upon fetish.
