Shut it down. Not only will the gimmedats find that having a job would be an advantage, there will also be a lot of non-essential government workers out of work for a while, think of the savings for that?

I agree and I do understand that there are times when people may temporarily need a hand getting food on the table. I think it should only be for staple type foods. Flour, sugar, oatmeal, milk, eggs, bread, beans, rice, potatoes, oranges, apples and limits to meats, maybe hamburger, whole chickens and pork chops as a decent choice.
