I was a senior investment banker at one of the great Wall St firms (I won't mention it's name) and we had one of the best municipal bond groups in the country.

But when it came to NYC...no one would touch it.

NYC was poison. The politics went back hundreds of years.

Trump went in there and made a fortune--changed the skyline.

How any human being could do that is beyond me.

My small investment banking group was first in the country by a certain metric (I attribute its success to the team of which I was leader but a small part). We wouldn't know where to even begin in NYC. It is a vast swamp of politics and graft.

Only a bona fide genius could do what Trump did. And he makes it seem simple.

It was not simple.
