Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush reaffirmed his support Monday for allowing undocumented immigrants to earn legal status, denouncing proposals to build a wall at the Mexican border and deport those living in the United States illegally.
Both are plans touted by billionaire businessman Donald Trump, who has topped the Republican field in recent polls.
After initially steering clear of Trump, Bush has become more outspoken in his criticism of the frontrunner with a penchant for incendiary comments about illegal immigration.
We need to respect the rule of law. Theres national security questions, public health questions. Theres important questions about protecting and securing the border. But we dont need to build a wall. We dont need to deport every person thats in this country, that would cost hundreds of billions of dollars, Bush said to applause at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce convention in Houston.

Yeb must say these things as the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has given him a ton of money. Mexico drug lords have backed him with tons of cash. If the truth ever came out the whole criminal Bush family would go to prison.
She's sharp as a tack, quick, well spoken, outspoken, and doesn't appear to be the mealy mouthed lock step type the GOPe prefer. I think she may be more conservative than they like, but it's possible she is just pandering for the nomination. She is great in any debate or interview, a person to be reckoned with. I don't think her ascent is only due to the media, they are just picking anyone they think can foil the Donald.
Jeb, Kasich, Christie, Rubio. Those seem to be the ones the elites can count on. Rubio has all markings of a great candidate. Telegenic, speaks well, young, positive. If he hadn't screwed the pooch with the gang of eight, I think he'd be way ahead. It's for those reasons I think they are going to try to push him.
Mexico is paying for the wall so who gives a good GD how much it cost?
Yep, lake and Edmund way ahead of the curve on the benignity of the Jebbie effort.
I figured it was billions, not hundreds of billions. Why would it cost hundreds of billions.
