MSN:
"Scott Walker suspended his 2016 campaign on Monday and called on some of his Republican rivals to do the same, citing an urgent need to "clear the field" to help defeat GOP front-runner Donald Trump".What Walker actually said: "Today, I believe that I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field in this race so that a positive conservative message can rise to the top of the field. With that in mind, I will suspend my campaign immediately,"
A wee bit of editorializing by our unbiased Media buds... (aka, a cancer on America).

If I have time and feel like it, I'll look up a transcript of the entire speech, but I'm with you, Walker didn't say anything negative about Trump in particular. That's a media fabrication or imagination.
At the same time, walker's point is a bit muddled, "instead of talking about how bad things are, talk about how to make them better" is an odd remark. The two go hand in hand, and the people aren't feeling that things are going all that well. His remark about the debate swinging into the personal should be pointed at the press, which uses "let's you and him fight" questions.

I would still interpret it as a disguised slap at Trump with the content of the quote Jeb Bush like.

What Walker actually said: Doesn't matter...the boo birds aren't interested.
