I suspect some folks are going to be very very unhappy when Trump wins the nomination and hawks Conservatism all the way to the election. Theyd rather be proven right than have the nation repaired.
Thats BLIND faith.. you do need to have faith in something..
The setup is this.. TRUMP can blame Congress when things do not go his way(after being elected)
....you know... like Obama does.. IT WORKS..
HEY I tried.. buy “THEY” will not co-operate..
AND THEN all over again.. give me a co-operative Congress!..
true beleivers in Trump will laugh this off.. I WILL NOT..
-— OR -—
Trump is not selected at all.. but the best of the best is Selected.. CRUZ..
Who knows exactly how to deal with this..
As one with Presidential Power(s) and knows HOW to Use them...
That is not what it is at all. That article is posted on HIS blog to HIS readers. Your reaction to the title of an article is way off base.
I have a feeling that Trump will be one of the great presidents—His face will be carved on mountains as he leads us to vistory. He’s a lot smarter than people think.
Read the article, then you will understand why Graham, Kasich, and others are running, and why we have an unheard of 16 candidates
Bush would follow in the illustrious path of his brother.
He would favor amnesty.
He would favor big government programs.
He would favor big spending.
He would leave the nation trillions deeper in debt.
And if there were a crisis brewing that could almost destroy our nation, he would let it happen rather than raise hell over it.
And a the end of the day, that is what Conservatism would represent to most Americans.
As a businessman, Trump did many things I couldn’t have. I don’t own a multi-million dollar business. I don’t have tens of thousands of employees relying on me to make things happen.
Trump is transitioning from a businessman to a politician. He is reviewing his beliefs and coming up with policy statements.
So far, I’m liking what I am seeing. I like his interviews. I like his political events. I like his policies.
Jeb or Trump?
It’s not all that hard really.
I guess I'm as entitled to my opinion as you are.
Blind faith is not limited to one candidate. It is what we are limited to with every candidate.
I trusted Cruz on issues. I had blind faith in him.
Then he voted to reduce the number of Senators needing to approve of the Iran deal by half.
Then he voted for TPP support legislation.
Then he professed belief that we needed to triple our H1-B visas.
Ted is my number two guy, and I would be satisfied to see him win in November of 2016.
Would I have to have blind faith in him.
Absolutely. He has already shown me I can’t trust him. Any faith I extend to him from this point will have to be blind.
I have always believed that the primary attribute of a President is leadership. It is not how much factual information he knows, like who is the terrorist of the day, but rather to recognize a terrorist when he sees one and not be afraid to call it such and lastly, have the courage to do something about it, and to bring the exactly right people to carry out his wishes. TRUMP is that guy. Trump is for here and now and I honestly hope and pray he selects Ted Cruz for VP, Ben Carson as head of Health and Human Services, which is what God made him for (imho) and Trey Gowdy in Justice. Talk about a dream team:))
That is not an opinion, that is a misunderstanding
Bump for later
Cruz does need some repair work, but I think Trump is just the guy to fix him:)
= ;?)
ALL bills that would have passed anyway...
So Cruz tried to put poison pills in them..
You seem to know nothing of what actually happened..
I’m amazed at that..
Just voting NO on a bill(that will pass anyway) makes you LOOK GOOD but does NOTHING..
A real patriot would try to disable the hated legislation as much is possible..
To get by McConnell you MUST appear to be complicit in the bad deed..
-OR- NO AMENDMENTS FOR YOU..
McConnell is the Legislation-Nazi..
HosePipe, I want you to think about this.
If your response is reasoned, then we can never criticize another improper vote again.
Your argument is therefore absurd.
Those votes and positions were extremely flawed.
Hate to be the one to deliver the sad news.
Good analysis. I do love, love, love Ben Carson but he’s not down and dirty enuff’ for the job. Would love to see him in a cabinet position, not necessarily Surgeon General, unless he wanted that position.
Why thank you, Hanna. No one has condescended at me today until this.
I do not want Carson to get out now. He has to stay!

Thats how Congress WORKS.. both in the house and the Senate..
I didn’t invent the system I merely am, reporting it..
That’s how it works.. whether I like it or not..
Getting the feeling this is going over your head..
Hope not..
Thats exactly how Democrats water down quite literally ALL REPUBLICAN LEGISLATION.. for a hundred years or so..
Republicans have been too dumb to do it.. thinking they have the high ground.. i.e. bi-partizan which only works for democrats you know.
ALL republican legislation is watered down.. by these means.. ALL OF IT..
Ted is for AMERICA not for Ted Cruz.. proved by these things he’s doing..
Some of them he explains exactly why... too...
IF any want to know.. but most are too dumb to know what what actually goes on..
MAYBE................ DON’T EVEN WANT TO KNOW either..
Being totally divorced from what actually goes on.. ON PURPOSE..
Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a time traveler from the year 2315. I was born on Mars, but my parents are both from Pluto.
Now, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that, after you read my first sentence, my second and third sentences are probably not what you expected. I’m pretty confident that that’s the case, in spite of the fact that I don’t even know you. Is it condescending of me to make that assumption or am I just using common sense?
I think your first sentence speaks for itself.
