When I was an admin. assistant. in H.R. and we’d be recruiting for an executive slot, this type of person would come for an interview and wow the recruitment panels. Sharp, crisp, immediate answers with a confident manner. They’d be hired and, once in the position, were dismal failures. Panel members would think back and it dawned on them that they were fed a load of baffle-gab. The talk was great, but they absolutely could not perform.
If we checked references with prior employers we never got the truth because they feared possible lawsuits in the future. With Carly, at least we know her history as a leader and it stinks. She’s been a chronic failure.
If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with B... S...!
