Walker is still relatively young but I think his political career is toast - maybe even in Wisconsin as well.

Guessing you don't live in Wisconsin otherwise you'd know that Walker won his first election as Governor, a recall attempt was made which fizzled out when Walker handily won the recall vote by a wider margin than he did when he first ran, and easily won re-election.

Show me ANY other Governor in the history of our country that (a)Survived a recall vote by a bigger margin than he won office with and; (b)Won three times in five years (election, recall effort, re-election.)

Walker knows how to win, unfortunately those around him and advising him right now certainly don't know what it takes to mount a NATIONAL effort.

I think Walker's fine at home, not worried about him being re-elected as Governor.

Well glad to hear he’s at least secure in Wisconsin and guaranteed re-election there.

Well, Walker is on his second term, so I assume he is not running for reelection. He is done in Wisconsin, unless he wants to go back to the state legislature or be the county executive again in Milwaukee.

Also, I read a few weeks ago that his favorability rating in Wisconsin had sunk to 38%.

It seems to be almost universal that politicians running for office while in a different position lose favor as many voters don't see that as appropriate. If you look like you are going down in flames, those same voters pile on even more. It's just the way it is.
