Did anyone notice that folded Palestinian keffiyeh in the case? Bit of a tipoff?

It was the first thing I noticed yesterday when I saw the photo of the 'bomb timer'.

Thanks for confirming what it was and supplying the name of the object.

The pattern of the cloth fits the description, but the "suitcase" is the size of a pencil box. That would make a tiny keffiyeh to top a pen/pencil/highlighter.

re:

"The other ‘tipoff’ is that the student’s nickname is BOMB MAKER."

Got a link for that?

There is plenty of online info to question in this young man's family background including:

An interesting factoid, from Jonathan Langdale. The Micronta clock (used in clock boy's experiment) has previously been used as the clock part of a bomb in bombings in the past, for example this bombing of, an Air India flight on the way to Canada killing 329 people.

The school day just prior to Ahmed's stunt was Friday, September 11, when a nearby high school in Plano was the subject of a publicized and frightening bomb scare. Ahmed had to have known that his clock would look suspicious. "Because his name is Mohamed and because of September 11th," Mohamed told The Dallas Morning News, "I think my son got mistreated."

Clock boys dad is the Imam who played Defense Attorney when Koran-burning preacher Terry Jones put the Koran on trial

Clock-boy's dad and uncle run businesses in Irving Texas at an office complex called "Twin Towers"....coincidence?,

Kindly post links to any source material confirming "student’s nickname is BOMB MAKER" quote.
