Carson is a work in progress.It's probably too early to pigeon hole him. The more I hear about Carly the less I like. But, as I said before if it's Hillary a woman on our side of the ticket might make the difference. Who knows.

When you talk to him in person as I have, listen to him speak live, interview people who know him, view his history you get a different version.Much different from the guy who joined the gang of eight and did so many things we hate like being weak on immigration. etc etc.

He did however give up his Senate seat for a super long shot on becoming potus.My guess, he's vying for VP, or a seat at Trumps table.

It appears to me the road to conservatism is always three step forward and two steps back,little change.

You live in FL. What were Rubio's chances of being reelected? Would he be strongly challenged in the Senate primary?

I think that Marco has a problem in that he is not rich enough to keep in the political game on his own. Carly will not be left impoverished however this race turns out. Rubio is the perfect example of how the political process makes it almost impossible to run an effective, and winning, campaign without an infusion of big money from vested interests.
