I dont think thats correct. As I recall, Trump has said hed commit up to 100 million of his own funds. But a national run for POTUS is likely to cost a billion or more. Here's the thing. He said he would spend up to $1 billion to win the nomination. But he said yesterday a more realistic number he would need is $100 million to win the nomination. After he gets the nomination, he said he will rely on the RNC for funds and he is getting a lot of free publicity.

he is getting a lot of free publicityProves the adage that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Are all the networks covering every speech of JEB?

Correction: He said up to $1 billion he would spend. And the more relalistic number he said he would need to spend to win the nomination is $100 million or MORE.
Only up to $100 million he would spend, or this is how much he would need to win the presidency was never stated.

In other words, so much for 100% self-financing. Just go to the vile and despicable RNC. But actually, it’s OK, because we all know that DT can do no wrong.
