0bama is a non-observant Muslim. The demands of being an observant Muslim are simply too great and impossible to disguise, and would thus prohibit a political career. 0bama does not pray to Mecca six times a day; he eats pork and drinks alcohol - which is not especially uncommon, even in many places in the Middle East, much less places such as Indonesia where 0bama grew up. He's similar to many Jews who consider themselves Jews but do not keep kosher or strictly observe the Sabbath.
His leftism is part and parcel with this: many Jews support “gay marriage” and other “progressive” issues even though Jewish law strictly forbids them. Hence, I think it is useful to think of 0bama as a Muslim who has the same relationship to his religious beliefs as many liberal Jews do to theirs.
Which is a bit ironic in many ways, if you think about it.
