I personally think its a mistake to skip this event. This is about the last place he would face any questions about the idiotic Obama question.
I think Donald just needs to catch his breath. Just prepping and then enduring that Three Hour Tour of a debate, would have worn me out. It would be understandable if he needs a little bit of diversion and peace, at least for this weekend. He also may be trying to find out if this guy was a plant, and if so, paid by whom?
