The forum Trump cancelled on was today from 4 - 10pm and is currently ongoing. Each candidate
would be on stage alone with the panel for questioning. The time would be divided equally
among the now 10 attendees. Eleven were scheduled, Trump has backed out, two declined and
three didn’t get invites because the didn’t meet the criteria.

Probably he had important business to attend. And even though he is not attending, most of the talk is still about him for the trivial reason of not attending.

With the backstabbing Gov. Nikki Haley in charge, I doubt the convention is very conservative. However, with Trump absent, perhaps Cruz will get more exposure. Unless the media decides not to cover him.
