—HP hired her and she left Lucent with $65 million in performance based pay. Why was HP so stupid to hire her if she did so bad at Lucent and why did Lucent give her the $65 million. If you say “it was in her contract” well that's not her problem. If it were Trump he'd consider that “making a good deal and using his negotiating skills”.
— Also, the guy that headed her firing is now a supporter who said they made a mistake.
— Lastly, THOUSANDS have lost jobs that worked for Trump. I know four. I'm not against Trump. as I keep saying I am undecided. But there seems to be a hell of a lot of double standards on this site.
“Why was HP so stupid to hire her if she did so bad at Lucent and why did Lucent give her the $65 million.”
On the books, the sales were good.
Nevermind that the numbers were faked, much like the sub-prime mortgage numbers being sold off as solid assets right up until everything collapsed.
That the sales were revenue coming in from loans to customers didn’t factor in as it was reported as “new sales”.
Not loan revenue.
In exactly the same fashion as Enron, and in the same accounting gimmicks used during the sub-prime loan disaster.
