For anyone who watched Wednesday night's Republican primary debate with the volume turned down, there was a clear winner, communication experts say: Donald Trump, hands down.
"When it comes to body language, nobody does it better," says David Givens, director of the Center for Nonverbal Studies in Spokane, Washington. "He just neutralizes the opposition."

He leans forward on the lectern.
Trump's opponents tend to stand up straight, which might please their mothers, but doesn't do much for the audience. Givens notes that Trump puts his hands on the lectern and leans forward. "It's like he's doing a pushup. It's a display of power," he says.
He gestures out to the audience.
It's a very big gesture, Givens says, reaching way out. "He extends his hands towards you. It's very personal," Givens says.
His palms are up.
When he does these big gestures, he usually has his palms up.
"He's saying 'I'm open, I am who I am and you can trust me,'" Morgan says, noting that Trump tends to have his palms up when facing the audience or when journalists ask him questions, but not when he faces his opponents.

That may well be, but it doesn’t mean I’m wrong.
One of two things are fixing to happen. Midway into the primaries the media & GOP-E is going to turn on him scorching the few real Conservatives running in the processing paving the way for Jebthro or Rubio. Second possibility Trump will get bored and withdraw or make an irrecoverable blunder. I look for it to happen by mid primaries. The media is playing Trump up big for some reason. All the attention mainly on him. Trump talked about Fiorina {I'm not a supporter of her} being a bad business leader when Trump's businesses went bankrupt four times?????
Trump wholly owns more than 200 incorporated business entities. That is four out of 200, or 2% of the number of businesses and probably far less than that in terms of the valuation of the businesses.
There are two types of bankruptcies. He used the type that allows a business to reorganize and pay off debts on a schedule, minimizing the damage all around. He has not personally gone bankrupt at any time. Which shows how you do not really understand the complexity of business, or why someone with top-tier international business experience, wealth creation, job creation and redevelopment would be so valuable right now.
And that is quite aside from the fact that the Founders’ plan for federalism never at any time envisioned that a permanent political class of people only educated or experienced in politics would be desirable for our nation. We were supposed to have citizen legislators who all have real-world experience and livelihoods to which they would return after one or two terms in Washington. Most of the government is supposed to be on the state level, so that people can have maximum access to their legislators and maximum choice in how their region is run. That way, the things that are good for the heavily urban areas are not imposed on the open countryside areas, and vice versa. Water issues, natural resources, timber, coastline, croplands, education, social and religious customs all these disparate features should not be forced into false uniformity across 50 states.
I understand this. We have had the last four presidents counting current who also thought they were Mr Business and Mr Trade Master that was the problem. They wanted more power.
A leader of a business is looking for any means to make a profit and it can end up ethics be damned especially in dealing in foreign trade. One wanted to basically merge us with Mexico and Canada. Open borders for all was the end goal had it went through. The GOP thought he walked on water. So much so they gave him all he asked for and when he left all he asked for the next president began using against us.
We need a Constitutional Scholar and true statesman. Our government is not a business it is a three tier {equal branches} form of a Constitutional Republic government by consent of We The People. A government which is supposed to be bound by the specifications and limitations as specified within the Constitution as to it's powers and more important it's limits. To function properly it can do no more nor no less. That means all three branches must understand this. We do not elect kings.
Who is the only one running who fully understands this? It's Cruz although not perfect. Even Reagan was limited to the Constitution and by the congress and USSC and he was the last POTUS to reasonably respect it. If POTUS doesn't understand the Constitution and uphold it then one is about as bad as the other.
I understand this and agree with it. But it's not going to happen. The electorate has been too dumbed down. So, brace yourself and stop wishing for the impossible. Cruz does not have the winning appeal or backing at this time to the electorate or within the political jungle that we now have. I hope he does in the future.
Then if we are stuck with the others running we are up that creek I shall not name without a paddle. The rest are either not experienced enough to handle the job knowledge of government wise or in the majority of being far too liberal. The rest in that debate except once for Huckabee one time just don’t get it. New POTUS same results different palms greased and old ones too. BUSINESS as usual.
Who weed?
“His military school added another dimension—teaching him life is a battleground.”
With all the excellent private schools in NYC, the only boys who got sent to military schools were the ones with “issues.”
What would be more interesting would be to interview the hundreds of women he used, but never married.
Just why do you think the US military/industrial complex goes into sovereign foreign nations and starts wars of destruction?
It’s so the money-hungry guys like Trump and the owners of Haliburton, etc., can then go in and rebuild them, making huge profits.
There are so many innocents on here supporting Trump.
He wants to be president so that he can become the Richest Man in the World...at the expense of American taxpayers.
You must all be under 30 years of age.
“interview the hundreds of women he used, but never married.”
Fine; whatever. All’s fair in love and war, and politics is war of sorts. I’m sure that certain people have whomever they can dig up standing by to “swiftboat” him when the time is right. People in their 60s have baggage.

Platform 7 feet up. Hot lamps. Bad air conditioning. One bottle of water each. Miracle one didn’t pass out.
He deserved that. She should have slapped his puffy ugly Campfire Marshmallow Man face!
